2. Are your poodles health tested?
Yes! All our breeding dogs undergo full health testing, including OFA hips/elbows, genetic screening via Embark, eye and heart certifications.
3. Are your puppies AKC registered?
Absolutely. All our puppies come with Limited AKC registration paperwork and a signed contract.
4. What colors do you breed?
We breed a variety of AKC-accepted colors including black, white, cream, blue and silver.
5. How big do your Standard Poodles get?
Most Lingo Poodles mature between 45–65 pounds and stand around 22–25 inches tall at the shoulder.
6. Do your poodles have show potential?
Yes, we selectively breed for show-quality structure, movement, and coats. Many of our puppies have gone on to succeed in conformation, obedience, and agility.
7. Are your puppies socialized before going home?
Definitely! Our puppies are raised using Puppy Culture protocols and exposed to various environments, sounds, people, and handling from an early age.
8. Do you temperament test your puppies?
Yes, we conduct temperament evaluations at 7 weeks to help match puppies with the most suitable homes.
9. What age can we take a puppy home?
Puppies go home between 8–9 weeks, depending on individual readiness.
10. Do you offer extended training?
Yes, we offer extended puppy training programs on a limited basis for families who want a head start on manners and crate training.
11. Are Standard Poodles hypoallergenic?
While no dog is truly hypoallergenic, Poodles have hair (not fur) and minimal shedding, making them more suitable for allergy sufferers.
12. Do I need to groom my Poodle often?
Yes. Standard Poodles require regular grooming every 4–6 weeks and consistent brushing to prevent matting.
13. Can we visit before picking a puppy?
Yes, we allow scheduled visits for approved families after puppies have reached a safe age and immunity level.
14. How do I reserve a puppy?
Start by filling out our puppy questionnaire. Once approved, a non-refundable deposit holds your spot on the waitlist or litter reservation.
